What’s Included in This Course
🐑 Six 3-Hour Live Demonstrations (18 Hours Total)
Join me every Thursday from 2:00 – 5:00 PM CST (October 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, and November 6) as we create three full sheep portraits together—a ewe, a lamb, and a ram. Each portrait unfolds over two sessions, giving us time to slow down, observe deeply, and paint with care. Along the way, I’ll guide you through the full process—from the foundational drawing to the finishing touches—with clear steps and plenty of time to learn as we go.
🗣 Personalized Weekly Feedback
Every Wednesday (October 8 through November 12), we’ll meet for a live group feedback session. You’ll receive specific, thoughtful guidance on your work—what’s going well, what to refine, and how to take the next step with confidence. As one student shared:
“TJ offered specific, kind, and professional advice that helped me see what to work on—without ever feeling discouraged.” – Candi H.
These sessions are included with your registration and have become a favorite part of the experience for many.
📖 A Printable Guidebook to Support Every Lesson
Each week, you’ll receive downloadable guidebook pages with step-by-step notes, diagrams, and practical tips. These aren’t fluff—they’re designed to help you grow, both during the course and long after. Think of it as a painter’s field guide to sheep (and animal portraiture more broadly): form, light, texture, and tone—all in one place.
📺 Lifetime Access to All Recordings
Can’t make a session live? You’ll have lifetime access to every recording so you can revisit techniques, rewatch key moments, and move at a pace that fits your life. Many students say they get even more out of the second (and third!) viewing.
👥 A Small, Supportive Community (Only 60 Spots)
This course isn’t designed to go viral—it’s designed to go deep. With only 60 students, you’ll have the chance to ask questions, share your work, and feel seen. Whether you post in the community or just listen in on Zoom, you’ll feel the benefit of learning in a kind and focused environment.
🎨 Teaching That Meets You Where You Are
Whether you’re a confident animal painter or this is your very first time attempting wool, horns, or symmetry, I’ll meet you with patience and clarity. My job is to help you build real understanding—not just follow along. By the end of this course, you’ll have tools and insight that will carry into any animal portrait you choose to make.
